About

Curtis Clow is a Ringo Award–nominated comic writer and one of Kickstarter’s most successful indie comic creators, with 25 fully funded campaigns—some of the highest-funded indie comics on the platform. He is the writer and co-creator of Beastlands and Slightly Exaggerated, both published by Dark Horse Comics, and The Wild Cosmos from Scout Comics. His credits also include a Webtoon Original series and titles such as Majestic, A Place Where Time Doesn’t Exist, and The Banished Knights.

He has also written for several indie game studios, contributing branching dialogue, cutscenes, and in-world storytelling for narrative-driven games. Beyond comics, Curtis is passionate about games and animation, and loves exploring the storytelling potential of different mediums.

In addition to his writing work, Curtis has helped numerous creators as a crowdfunding consultant and project manager, guiding campaigns from strategy and pre-launch through to fulfillment. His experience includes managing creative teams, coordinating production timelines, and delivering high-quality work on tight deadlines.

Outside of storytelling, Curtis enjoys chess, hiking, and staying active. He draws deep creative inspiration from Studio Ghibli’s emotional storytelling and imaginative worlds. While fantasy and sci-fi are his favorite genres to write, he’s always looking to challenge himself creatively in new genres and formats.

Curtis is currently open to new writing, editing, and creative opportunities.
